How do we get into the heart energy? One way is to slow down and breathe. Meditation is a very important modality to incorporate in our daily lives. It is the medicine of our souls. Just like our bodies need water, our breath feeds our Spirit. Our breath is what keeps us alive, for without it, the body cannot exist. When we learn to slow the ego through breath work, and not let our belief systems block us, the truth can prevail.
Ego loves to make us crazy with all it's chatter of how, what, why and so much judgement. I don't think when we leave the body any of those mind things will matter, anyway.
When one slows down through breath work or meditation, the body can come into balance of relaxation and ask our higher selves what is the best. Spirit knows NO lies. It always guides us through our heart energy. When we have those "ahaaa" moments, notice where the hand goes. Usually right over the heart. So it is a very natural place for us to feel. Practice taking the time to feel more from the heart and move away from the re-acting ego (mind).
I often teach my clients how to take the brain into the heart when meditating and to quiet the ego (mind). It is a simple technique but one must practice it.
Remember we are spirit first, and body second, as it is the vehicle we have chosen on Earth to live life. Taking the time to speak the truth from the Heart and listening to your higher self is the substance that ignites the awakening of divinity- love. Love is the universal language of the Heart.
